"Play the piano, compose my own music, get teased a lot due to the fact I don't conform to normality," Hotaka responded with a smile. "To me this is my normal, in my culture that's what normal is," he added on with a sigh. Yeh, at times things were hard for him, the cultural differences and the like.

"Ah," Elizabeth said, putting her hands in her pocket yet again. She was still cold, something that was normal for her. "You get teased a lot?" she said sympathetically. She hated people who judged people just because of the way they looked or acted. Especially teasing someone just because they don't conform to normality. That's just rude. "That's horrible," Elizabeth said.
Sometimes Lizzie didn't like being normal, though. Sure, you avoided being made fun of, but she hated the fact that she was never noticed. She never stood out, she always fit the mold of your average teenage girl. She wanted to be something more, but it was practically impossible, considering this is who she was. Nobody really understood that, though, so there was no use talking about it. She didn't really think of how good being normal could be, until Hotaka mentioned it. Now she realized she was pretty lucky, in a way.
